I would also be interested, seemes they are hard to come by anymore. And we would be interested in getting one.

Some good pictures of how it used to set up and what material it was Measurements should be easier to find once i know how it worked

I designed the tent many years ago and will go from memory here. I can't give an exact spec for line lengths, but you can get the idea.

The tent hung from the furled main sail. The main halyard was attached to the aft end of the boom and hoisted to enlarge the door opening end at the rear crossbar.

The roof pitch ran straight to the outboard of the wings. Run the bungee from the roof edge to the outside of the wing, around and then hook to the wing tramp laces. Hoist the boom so the rear door area is vertical. Sidewalls hung straight down to the outer rail of the hull and velcro'ed in place.

Ok so we are talking long bungies. Enought to go from boom to wings and back to the loops. And i did miss that about using the halyard instead of the Topping lift. I guess the topping lift wasn't getting it high enough maby and that was part of my problem. I'll start hunting for long bungies

The bungee is not that long. The roof peak extend out to the edge of the hull (little further?) and the bungee would be no longer that the edge of the hull to the out side of the wing.

when i got home i looked at it and figured that i was mistaken. i was thinking the bungies supported the tent roof than out around and hook to the eyes. Now i see that its just from the eyelets to the wings.

I'll figure it out some day. Next is to find Velcro that will get along with saltwater and hot sun for the hull sides.

Ohio,

I have a 21SC tent available if you are interested. I bought my SC used a couple years ago and the tent came with the boat. Cool design but I don't plan to use it.

Where did you get one? Also when you set it up can you give the rest of us some details. I think a few of us are going to have to make our own   .
