As Matt points out mast rake depends on crew weight and personal preferences. So you'll need to experiment and find out what works best for you.
While aft rake tends to depower the boat somewhat, I also found that it makes tacking a little harder. In light or shifty winds, you may want to refrain from raking too far aft.
BTW, has anyone used quick release pins on the shrouds and forestay adjustment plates? The small ring dings are an annoyance when I have cold and wet fingers. At the same time, I don't want to chance loosing the mast!
