Hold on, I'm not talking about the AI, just about your current dream-of adventure.
Where do you plan to go in the near future ? How far ? I mean in the range of feasible things, not crossing the Pacific straight away.
If you have any Google Earth view of it, that would be even better.

Here are mine :
The first one I already completed on a Formula board in 2006, not so difficult in the right conditions.

The other one I never attempted windsurfing because the coast is much less forgiving plus the wind can be very shifty. That's why the AI is a good candidate. 8)

arno, I think you have posted the url for the thumbnails of your images from imageshack. When you upload an image to imageshack, you need to get the url from further down the page. It's called url for forums, or something similar.
Here's the first image:

and here's the second one:

Thanks Chrisj but actually that was intentional, as I personally prefer not to make the forum pages too heavy, those interested are just one click way from the full-size image ; and the others, for instance those browsing through hand-held devices, are not too bothered.

So, what about you ? Any particular trip in the making ?

oops, sorry Arno. I found that when I clicked the thumbnails, the images were still to small too see properly. Perhaps I should mind my own business. Got a few trips planned, but I haven't got around to plotting the exact routes yet. I don't know if the Google images would mean much to most people on the forum, as South-Eastern Australia is not as familiar as the French/Italian riviera.

No worries and you are quite right, I hadn't clicked on the thumbs myself, one really has to click more than I imagined, sorry.
Anyway, I happen to have recently developped a not-possible-before mania : everytime I read about some trip report with geographical names quoted, be it close to me or down under, I immediately use Google Earth to spot it. And the close-up views are so neat most of the times that one can get a good idea of what it's really like, especially if the place has already been provided with pics by visitors.
For instance, Eastern Ireland, Jervis Bay and the Everglades were among the latest destinations thanks to this forum.
Hence my inquisitive query through that thread
Cheers

Yeah, I like doing that too, although, as you say, it's better if there are some actual photos of the places. As a matter of fact, Jervis Bay is my next planned long trip. Also, Stringy is planning to go to the Broughton Islands soon and I hope I will be able to join him. Here are his details from a previous trip there: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=9451&p=48798&hilit=broughton#p48798

Now that hurts : I had almost managed to forget about these island images. More than I can handle  These pics should be on the front page of the AI brochure 8)
