 Post subject: Forward crossbar screws

After sailing just 2 times, the screws holding the forward-most crossbar into the hulls are working themselves loose. Why is this, and what tool does one use to screw them back in?

Should just be a blade screw driver as I recall. Maybe use some Blue Loc Tite if they don't hold, but have not heard of this as being an issue in the past.
