So what's the expected turnout of 16A's this weekend?

Other than Wally, and the locals, any other "rock stars" coming? curious... :?:

LOL...thanks for the update Chris. Do we get a "chance" at you?

Wondered if the pitch to the West Coast racers to stop on their way through to Kingston panned out?

Don't you wish. Jake is going camping with my brother/sister in law so I am on the 14 for the weekend. I heard a rumor that Marcus is coming on his 14 and Bill Wilson will be there as well as Reb, Birkholz (Hannah and Dan) and hopefully a few more.

There will be upwards of 20 A fleeters. The fleet will be deep in talent,Sohn,Johnston, the Jagger clan,Dorschener, couple of hot Laser sailors that have converted to Hobies.Hey Wally will be hard pressed to crack the top 5.I can say that and get away with it because I know Wally does not look at this Forum.

We'll catch ya at Saylorville then? Hey, Taylor Worthington is bringing up his 14 from KC for his first regatta at the helm...good kid, so don't be too mean to him, hear? :P

Now that's funny! Count on us and Chris Bradshaw from KC, 20 boats sounds like a fun weekend, thanks for all the hard work putting this together!

That's a list of people that have participated in the Copa Cummins in the past - not who are going to be there this weekend.

That may be true, but it doesn't make it any less funny. Big Rock Star double books.

I thought it was great too, the wind was a challenge, but the RC did a good job with it and met some new people and saw some old friends.
No place is more beautiful and N. Minnesota in the summer!

An excellent event and thanks for all the loot!

I'd like to thank everyone that helped with the words of encouragement for Taylor and Jordan from KC. Even though they were both on last place boats in their fleets, they are excited for the next event.

Two more Gen Y sailors hooked on Hobies! 8)

ps I found out I sail the Hobie 16 very slowly... ps

Any advice on posting images to the list. I've got some "action photos" from Ted, Kevin, and "Bald Eye the Pirate" I'd like to share.
