The definition in the clips is spot on CGM. Could you post the brand and model no. of your camera, or cheaper still where you live and when you won't be home. I might get out to have a look at them on the weekend. Very impressed with the results. I'm stay'n local this weekend. I think I'll just walk down to the lake and go over to Pulbah Island for lunch. If anyones is keen to join me, by all means just give me a call.

I'd love to take you up on it Slaughter, but Sunday looks like the only day it's going to be safe to sail and I have to go to Sydney. I'll just have to make do with Sydney Harbour .

Your definately spot-on rokraider. The red boat is most definately travelling faster than those other yellow ones which proves red definately goes faster.
Incidentally whilst involved in a sporting competition last night I was approached by one of the opposition who asked me if it was me on youtube sailing in Mallacoota. He knew I had an AI and my name is Pete, he didn't know my tag-name but still put it correctly together when he came across the footage. As a result he has won himself some time in my AI as he is interested in trying one out....Pirate

I wish that were actually true Pirate and rokraider but I would say my red AI is slower than my yellow AI and as if to reinforce this, on this trip I had trouble keeping up with Slaughter! (despite the video)

Some more pics.
We had hoped to explore further up Cowan Creek but the light winds and early dusk at around 5:00pm (it is the middle of Winter here) ensured that didn't happen. All up we did about 25kms.
The route:

Approaching the waterfall at Refuge Bay:

AI's beached at Refuge Bay:

The distinctive Cottage Rock:

Hallets Beach- a great place for lunch but beware the scavenging goanna's.

Lunch:

Approaching Cowan Point with virtually no wind:

Return trip to Broken Bay with Lion Island in distance:

We farewell CGM (left) at Eleanor Bluffs who returns to Brooklyn. Slaughter and I head for Patonga and arrive just on dusk:

Looking forward to exploring Cowan Creek further! :)

PS-I'm out this weekend Slaughter. :(

LOL, wrong type of stool.
Was just testing my $10 Anaconda fold up stool. Light and fits in the AI nicely.

The camera is a Panasonic DMC-FT1 (model number may vary in other parts of the world)
There's a review here of a few waterproof cameras
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/Q209waterproofgroup/

Of course the review came out after I got the camera. Gets a resonable write up though. I do find the front of the case very slippery. Hard to hold with one hand and use the zoom or shutter buttons. Your fingers want to slip off. I'm going to stick some sort of rubber grippy thing on the front. That should fix it.
