 Post subject: rudder blades

hi to all
i broke a rudder blade of my h14....i have found via ebay a good pair of rudder from an h16 i can use them or i must redrill the blade? in wich way ?

I own a 14 and have sailed a 16. I would say that im 90% sure that you would have to redrill the holes of the rudders. If you are serious about high speed sailing you should upgrade to hobies racing sails. They make a world of difference in control and speed. They are costly as hell but i think they were worth it.

I think the holes for the 14 & 16 are in the same place. Even if they're not, it's trivial to fill the old holes with thickened epoxy and drill new ones. There is a template available in the "rudder" entry of the FAQ.
