 Post subject: diamon wire tension

My monohaul tuning instinct says rigging should be tighter in heavier air but if I am reading the tuning guides correctly for my 18 the heavier the air the looser I want the diamond wires. Have I read this wrong or what? If that is correct, can someone tell me the logic behind this?
