This is how cool we are, the Havamega just got 2 front page spreads on SA and there hasn't even been a race yet!
That, and the BMW Oracle interview where Glenn Ashby talks about sailing Wildcats should get me some advertising co-op $$. Anyhow...

Here at Lke Havasu and I can see a little bit of breeze on the water this morning(Tuesday) at 8 AM
Will it dissapear like MOnday and we spend all day on the beach again??? We will see
Record HIgh Temps through out Arizona today so I dont have my hopes up

Yesterday some boats got out and 4 PM for a little trip around the 5 miph buoys for some practice but the little bit of wind died.
Jordan (my son) got to take out Jake's FX1 while I drifted on my 20 with half of the 20s from California.
He ended up rescuing me later from the back of the pack by towing me in with the Hobie Adventure Island...

A fun time was held by all at the opening event. Paul Hess home brew Margaretas helped spice up the party
At the other hotel -Island Inn - a lot of sailors ended up in the hot tub while the youth played in the pool

Hope for wind today....

Dwight

Karl we did go out today, but real light ! The tigers and 20s pulled off 2 races. 17s and 18s went out but couldn't get the wind to come our way. tigers and 20s were hoarding it all on their side of the lake.

wind tomorrow!!

Both races were light about 4 to 6kts with a few nice big holes to sail into. I found a few holes and had some problems , but its still fun. Hoping for a few knots more today.

Jeremy from Surf City Catamarans did a great job this week (along with Venomiss) giving us a little view into a world we rarely see - the world of Hobie regattas

"Rarely see"? Are we that much of pariahs?
