Aloha everyone,

I have purchased a used Bravo, and have wanted a boat like this since the mono cat days! I can't wait to get it on the water. I live in a condo on Oahu, in Hawaii Kai. I have access to a slip in front of my place, and can keep the Bravo in the water. There are no facilities to keep it out of the water (only Kayak and OC-1 racks), and access to the parking lot (for storage)v does not accommodate the width of the Bravo. I was wondering if anybody has kept a Bravo in salt water for any length of time. Can you put bottom paint on a roto moulded hull? Has anyone found an inexpensive solution for having a float under the Bravo? Any help would be appreciated. Having the boat in a slip would be appealing as my kids could take it out without having to haul the boat to a ramp.

Thanks!

We don't recommend mooring any of our products, but with the mast secured... the Bravo should be ok. Best if you could pull up on a dock or something. Nothing sticks well to the hull material... but of course sea crud.

I had mine in the water on Barneget Bay in NJ for a week this past summer and the brown sludge appeared quickly, but came off with a power wash, although it is still a bit discolored.
