I have found that during a 2 hour fishing expedition on my outback, I would continually bring on about a quart of water.
I have narrowed it down to water leaking through the mounting bolts for the Mirage drive lock down system.
I will be calling my dealer today to get their opinion on a fix, but I was looking for a possible answer from daily users.
I am planning on placing a O-ring under each plastic lock, but I am not confident this will take care of it. I might go with a silicon sealant for the threads, but I need to check with the warranty guru's first.
Any thoughts?
Dave

Well... That's a new one! If you do a search on "Leaks" you'll find a lot of info on other areas of the hull, most notably in the forward area of the drive well.

Contacting your dealer is the best option.

No I'm not, but Hobie is replacing both of my boats due to cracks in the peddal box.

Yeah, I had mine replaced under warranty too. We got a few of them here in Australia. But the new one has the cool new handles!
