So during the workweek I’m an engineer. I live in a 10x10 cubicle about the same size as a prison cell, but prison cells have beds. Now since I essentially live here I’ve decorated my cube to keep from going crazy. I have the token family, girlfriend, and vacation pictures, but I was thinking about how cool it would be to have a really cool poster. Perhaps one relating to my favorite summer pastime, perhaps one of the coolest sailboats ever made, but I can’t find any Hobie Cat posters anywhere. Matt Miller, all the ones on the Hobie website are all on backorder. Are they out of print? Does anyone know where a guy can find a poster to spruce up his super lame padded walls?

We don't have posters shown on our website. Perhaps you are looking at hobie.com? That is a licensee and retail store site. Not Hobie Cat.

We recently did one on the H16... "Still the best ride!"

We have bunches of different ones on the shelf... no back orders that I am aware of. Most are not offered as part numbers though. Your dealer should be able to get some.

Matt,
I am interested in getting one/couple of posters. Is there a place where we can see what is available? When we talk to the dealer what do we ask for, or rather how can they help us without a part number or a reference in the parts catalog?

Thanks,

John

It is a tough one...

These are marketing related goods, not sold in the catalog.

Just ask the dealer if he can get some posters. We will try to send a few assorted ones. We don't have tons of them.

Matt,

Contacted my dealer, they are not interested in (familiar with) ordering something that isn't in the catalog. Would it be possible to order from the factory?
The poster(s) would be great for my kids who have caught the bug!

Thanks,

John

Matt,

I got the same response from my dealer - can't order what isn't in the catalog. How about it? Publish some hobie posters?

There is a really cool website that sells Hobie cat posters and all other sailing ships as well as other types of artistic goods.
http://www.Allposters.com
Click on transportation and then go to the left side of the screen and go to cats. There are over 400 sailing posters of various types that are mounted or sold as a poster.

Thanks for the tip, but that site shows only one poster of Hobies, and they're sitting there without any wind. But you gave me an idea to search the web for other Hobie posters. But that doesn't let Matt off the hook.
