The race preparations start on Mar 5 on the Ft DeSoto Beach south of Sarasota, FL. The race start is 7 am Saturday, Mar 6. It now looks like there may be 2 tandem AI's in the EC and one in the Ultimate FL Challenge.

This competition is a veritable Who's Who in small boat design and sailing. Anyone planning to go to the Friday preparations and Saturday launch?

This is a boat in the Everglades Challenge and in the Ultimate Florida Challenge. It was designed and built by Matt Layden (Wizard) and will be sailed by him. The boat seems laughable, that is, until he passes you in these adventure/endurance races.
