The Hobie MultiWorlds and Hobie 16 Europeans was a spectacular success in terms of numbers of competitors and sailing conditions. In every series there was a variety of conditions ensuring it was a challenge for the sailors in all conditions. Thank you to all the sailors for attending the events. I am sure you enjoyed yourselves and the racing. For those at home we had nearly 30,000 views each week on our Facebook page. A special thanks goes to Christopher Hancock and his crew Valerie Vanheukelom for their outstanding sportsmanship. They immediate stopped racing and went to the aid of an injured sailor involved in incident they were not involved in with. While racing is important our sailors safety is always of paramount importance.
