2016 Hobie Predator Open
De Banaan, Ooltgensplaat, Sept. 30 – Oct. 2

Kayak Anglers from all over Europe will have the opportunity to test their skills on the Haringvliet, the Netherlands for a chance to qualify and represent Team Europe for the 2016 Hobie World Championships in Louisiana, USA.

With a 60,00 EUR – early bird – entry for a 2 -day event, anglers will be trying to catch their 3 largest Pike, Perch & Zander each day in a Catch Photo and Release format. The angler with the largest total cm will win the first Hobie Predator Open, a spot on Team Europe for the 2016 Hobie World Championships including an air ticket voucher.

The 2014 Hobie Fishing European Championship venue, De Banaan, Ooltgensplaat will be the host of the first Hobie Predator Open from Sept. 30 – Oct. 2nd.

Schedule & Daily Itinerary:
Fishing Waters are the Haringvliet and Hollands Diep. Exact fishing areas will be announced during the competitors briefing on Friday, Sept. 30.

Anglers must be fishing from a non-motorized vessel. Kayak, Canoe, and SUP are the only permitted watercrafts in this event. Only one person per vessel. Sails are not allowed.
